    Excellent question, and you’re not the first to ask.

    I often read a sentence I make up. But as the students’ abilities progress, I sometimes play an audio file of something (whether the audio that goes with the lessons, or something totally separate we’ve worked on in class, such as a Hebrew song, or towards the end of the first term a verse from one of the Hebrew Bible audio collections). The diversity of aural input is important for their listening and processing abilities.
